Robert Allen, one of the men accused of murdering XXXTentacion has reportedly waived his right to a speedy trial.
Allen made an appearance in court along with another man allegedly involved in the XXX robbery and murder—Michael Boatwright. Allen reportedly stood before a judge and waived his 6th amendment right for an expedited trial.
Typically most defendants take advantage of a speedy trial, but for those who don’t, it’s usually because they are looking to build a case.
