According to TMZ, Prince's family has filed a lawsuit against the late musician's doctor, blaming him for the fatal overdose. The family claims that Prince was not prescribed the proper dosage by Dr. Michael Schulenberg back on April 20, 2016, just a day before the overdose. The family has already filed a lawsuit against the treating hospital and Walgreens for distributing the drugs to Prince.
As it was reported, Prince's toxicology report showed that his body contained "exceedingly high" of fentanyl. Despite the lawsuits, no criminal charges have been filed.
