A report that surfaced via the Chicago Tribune said Fredo Santana's cause of death was cardiovascular disease. The Chicago Tribune noted the medical examiner’s report said that idiopathic epilepsy was “a contributing cause of death.” Santana was also reportedly diagnosed with a seizure disorder only eight months before he passed away. It was noted this came after he quit taking Xanax.
According to reports, Chicago rapper Fredo Santana has passed away. Texas rapper Maxo Kream posted the news on his Instagram page followed by Drake and Lil Durk. The cause of his death is unknown at the time but Fredo had noted health issues following his prescription drug abuse.
