Friday (June 8) marked one month that the son of the late actress Farrah Fawcett and actor Ryan O'Neal has been behind bars for attempted murder and a slew of other charges stemming from a crime spree he pulled off in the Venice and Palms neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

Prior to 33-year-old Redmond O'Neal's capture, authorities had been on the lookout for a suspect with red hair and distinct tattoos who is said to have attacked numerous people randomly between the dates of May 2 and May 5. O'Neal is alleged to have gone after at least five victims over that span, including two men that he stabbed up hours apart on May 4.

While O'Neal wound up getting nabbed for robbing a 7-Eleven at knifepoint, his more serious crime involved the repeated wounding of a man who he left in a pool of blood with stabs to the face and upper body. He is being charged with one count of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of brandishing a knife one count of battery, and one count of criminal threats.

O'Neal is believed to have waged his attacks against individuals who stared back at him in public. Reports on his arrest have noted that he has a history of struggle with substance abuse.
