A woman from Fayetteville, North Carolina has been "accused of making unwanted advances on the cable guy," WTVD reports. Mildred Newsome, aged 47, is now facing charges of sexual battery and second-degree forced sexual offense.

Police said the sexual acts were performed without his consent. The technician left the job and reported Newsome right away. In response, the Fayetteville Police Department released a message for anyone who may find themselves in an uncomfortable sexual situation.

"That's the point you need to remove yourself from the situation and partner up with someone," said Fayetteville Police Sgt. Darwyn Hudson. "Let someone know that this situation has gotten to a place where it's out of your hands. Out of your control."

Not to diminish this sexual assault in any way but in the light of recent sex scandals, it almost seems minor. It would be just and proper if everyone in this country, starting with the President himself were held responsible for their heinous sex acts.

Only recently R. Kelly bluntly denied all of the sexual allegations against him (despite many different women accusing him of sexual misconduct and battery). Bill Cosby's career is ruined as a result of his past disturbing behavior. And not to mention the army of actors, comedians, entrepreneurs, musicians, politicians accused of the above.
