In what would appear to be just the latest example of racial profiling in Trump's America, a white Memphis woman called the police on a young black man who arrived to inspect a home adjacent to hers as part of his job.

Real estate investor Michael Hayes filmed his May 5 encounter with the woman and kept the camera on after the police arrived. In his nine-minute video posted to YouTube, Memphis PD officers are seen fully taking the side of Hayes and threatening to arrest the woman if she harasses him further.

“So we’re out here at a house now, one of where we’re under contract to pick up on, and for whatever reason, the neighbor has called the police on us,” says Hayes to the camera before asking the unidentified woman when the cops would be arriving. “I mean, this is what we go through — [a] young black man out here trying to do what’s right and we get the police called on us.”

After officers responded to the home, Hayes filmed his interaction with the police.

“You keep the camera rolling,” an officer told Hayes. “If you have any problems with her, what I want you to do is call me back over here and she will go to jail today. I don’t fool around.”
