Thoughts and condolences have been going out to the family of NBA YoungBoy's homie, Dump, who was gunned down in a drive-by shooting that took place in Baton Rouge on Friday, May 4.

Dump, whose given name was Desmond Hardnett, was wounded along with a 32-year-old woman he was driving with when shots rang out in the 2200 block of Nairn Drive at around 5:40 pm. It is suspected that the bullets came from a car that was passing by as they approached Bawell Street. Both victims were rushed to the hospital but only the woman accompanying Dump survived and is said to be in stable condition.

So far there are no suspects, witnesses, or perceived motives behind the attack, but authorities are continuing to investigate in hopes of coming upon some leads. Dump was 29-years-old.

Unfortunately, AI YoungBoy has not been able to give a public response to the murder because he has been banned from using social media or traveling out of state for six months. The 18-year-old Until Death Call My Name rapper has been restricted to his home with an ankle monitor on and has been receiving regular lessons in preparation for a GED exam.

YoungBoy's next scheduled court date is May 18.
