Russ finally acknowledged Metro Boomin.
Russ' comments about today's hip-hop producers are still on the tip of tounges. A lot of people shared their thoughts on his public criticism of current production styles. Of course, the one response everyone is still talking about is when Metro called Russ "whack."
It's rare to see Boomin insert himself into a Twitter beef or any beef, for that matter. However, it's no surprise that he took Russ' opinion about "C+" rated producers personal seeing as how he's one of the most notable acts that many hip-hop artists have garnered hits with.
After letting hours pass, Russ spoke out to clear up his statement. In some tweets, he explained that he wasn't referring to the "producer community," but those who basically have no originality behind their beats. He also spoke on rappers who write about the same things. Followers responded to the break-down and many seem to have a better understanding of what was really meant.
