Carmelo Anthony is one of the greatest offensive basketball weapons of this current generation and arguably ever. But even though he might be successful on the professional hardwood, what he does outside of his occupation is just as important and beneficial to society as well as he's become a public advocate/activist and human/civil rights spokesperson using his platforms to speak about the injustices going on not only in the United States but around the world.

What many don't know about Melo is that he actually owns a soccer organization from his descendant country of Puerto Rico known as the Puerto Rico FC, which has been participating in the North American Soccer League since the summer of 2016 and now it looks like Jordan Brand is blessing the team with their very own Air Jordan V colorway.

The Carmelo Anthony x Air Jordan V features a white leather base complete with eye-catching 'Crimson' overlay paneling while a 'Cool Grey' 3M reflective tongue featuring the Puerto Rico FC logo gives the sneaker balance while 'Teal' detailing hits the shoelaces and transparent lace lock of the kicks. An embroidered Jumpman logo hits the heel of the sneaker while a white midsole and icy translucent outsole close out the silhouette.

For now, there's no word on whether or not the Carmelo Anthony x Air Jordan V 'Puerto Rico FC' will be a general release but for those of you who got the bag and are willing to cough up $9K for this pair, you can do so via Flight Club right now.
