Everyone remembers the video of JAY-Z getting attacked by Solange in the elevator. It was a moment in hip-hop culture. The event helped inspire two of the greatest hip-hop albums of the past decade, Lemonade and 4:44. Mathew Knowles, the father of Beyonce and Solange, sat down with Wendy Williams on Thursday where the incident was brought up.

"When you saw Beyonce, Solange, and JAY-Z...and the security in the elevator 'thumping' what was your reaction to that?," asks Williams.

"I have to tell you, I laughed so hard," admits Knowles as the crowd laughs along with him. "I laughed so hard, because you know, if you know Solange... that's Solange. You just never know what you're going to get... firecracker, don't know where she get that from."

He continued on to state that Beyonce was the quiet one. Knowles and his oldest daughter have had a loving, yet bumpy, ride since the 90's. Knowles formed and managed the group Destiny's Child after years of going through new members and new names for the group. After Beyonce left to pursue a solo career, she parted ways with her father and found new management.
