Kodak Black remains in jail. The young Floridian has been caught up in a plethora of charges since he ascended the charts. Black was locked up in solitary confinement for a month because he made a three-way-call, something that is forbidden at the Broward County jail. Originally, he was locked up after he live-streamed a video of himself surrounded by friends smoking pot and holding a gun, in January. His infant child was also in the background. Authorities immediately raided the residence and found almost 100 grams of marijuana and a stolen gun.
At least Kodaks dark days in solitary confinement ended with a gratuitous prize. On March 19, Black tweeted from jail, stating that R&B sensation Chris Brown left thousands of dollars on his books for commissary.
"Fresh out the bing... that boy @chrisbrown just dropped 10 racks on my books, that’s love," read Black's tweet. What are friends for?
Brown and Kodak have worked together previously. The two collaborated on Brown's single “Pills & Automobiles,” which was featured on his 2017 45-track double album Heartbreak On A Full Moon. The "Loyal" singer has yet to comment on his gift, making the act seem even more altruistic.
Good job Breezy!
