Rajon Rondo has reportedly rubbed his teammates the wrong way during every phase of his career. While playing the starting point guard position role on the Boston Celtics he and his teammates were able to secure an NBA Championship in 2008 while being at odds at times. Rumors have leaked that Rajon Rondo has been a locker room cancer during his stints in Dallas, Sacramento, and Chicago and now that he's found a home with the New Orleans Pelicans, he rarely makes headlines for his play or antics.

Now, Rondo's former teammate and two-time NBA champion in Ray Allen is preparing to release a memoir entitled, From The Outside: My Journey Through Life and the Game I Love and some copies of the book have been leaked already for promotional purposes.

With some of the books already floating around the sports realm and streets, some of the more controversial content is being revealed, including a story of Rondo claiming that he carried the 2008 Boston Celtics to the Finals which featured a star-studded line-up consisting of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Allen himself.

With this information getting back to Rajon, he recently spoke with the Boston Globe and didn't hold back on his thoughts of Allen's intentions with the book, stating the following:

“He just wants attention. I actually need some sales from [the book], only [publicity] it’s been getting is from my name. I need some percentage or something. His people contact my people or something. The only pub I’ve been hearing about is when he mentions my name... He’s been retired for whatever years, and now he comes out with a book... People do that in that situation they need money. He should have hit me up and asked me for a loan or something. It’s no hard feelings.”

Rondo also exclaimed that he also has no beef with his ex-teammate but questions his intentions with the book all the while not denying the story that has been leaked.

As more and more details are revealed about the underground professional basketball world Ray Allen has experienced throughout his 18-year career; there will be a lot more NBA players coming forward to tell their side of the story from Milwaukee to Seattle to Boston to Miami and more.
