According to a video posted by @beatsbysaif from SXSW, Smokepurpp and the internet troll Saif exchanged words that almost led to an altercation.
If you frequent Twitter, mainly hip-hop artists' tweets, then you will more than likely see the name "beats by saif" in a comment under it. The internet troll who manages to get his music under every single comment on popular artists tweet, ran up on Smokepurpp to talk with him. In the video, it appears Purpp didn't know who the guy was until after the fact, which caused him to get upset.
From there, the rapper almost got into with Saif, but the internet troll was quickly booted by Purpp's entourage. This comes some months later after Saif claimed he was finessed for $2,000 by the rapper.
