Colin Kaepernick came eye to eye on Friday (March 16) with one of the higher-ups whom he has accused of being part of a network of team owners and executives who conspired together to keep him out of the NFL last year.

Headlines that dominated news of Kaep over the past 24-hours have revolved around a viral video out of Houston that shows the unsigned quarterback training, in what many suspected to be the early stages of a comeback attempt. Only one day later, the public learned of the primary reason Kaepernick is hanging around the Lone Star State - after word got out that he had shown up to court to witness defamed Texans owner Bob McNair's deposition on the collusion charges he filed against several league figures last October.

Fans will recall McNair drawing heavy heat after he compared protesting players to "inmates running the prison." The remark came off as especially inflammatory considering it came in the weeks that followed President Trump's controversial call for owners to fire players who kneel during the National Anthem.

Among the others named in Kaepernick's suit are commissioner Roger Goodell, and owners Jerry Jones (Cowboys), Robert Kraft (Patriots), and coaches John Harbaugh (Ravens) and Pete Carroll (Seahawks).
