Azealia Banks took to Instagram to clear up media reports that she is facing jail time. The "212" rapper told her followers, "This is a lie. My court date was rescheduled because the DA on my case was not in court yesterday. I completed all 12 hours of anger management and there were two hours in dispute because the counselor didn’t send them into the courts. Hence the date being rescheduled.. I’m definitely not going to jail. The fact that I even have to address this type of bullsh-t is stupid. Theshaderoom definitely has something against me, I am not sure what it is. . . Funny because four years ago I would have gone on a rampage over this but I’m really too grown to care today.... Oh well *yawn*"

Rapper Azealia Banks did not comply with her court order of a six-hour anger management course that would have reduced her sentencing from a misdemeanor to a violation.
Banks was arrested in December 2015 on a third-degree assault charge for biting security guard Christine Soares’s breast outside on W. 14th St after had been thrown out of Up&Down Nightclub.
During her court appearance yesterday, Azealia could only produce proof that she completed four hours, reports The Shade Room.
Still, Judge Angela Badamo permitted Ms. Banks to was to complete the remaining two hours before her next court date on April 3. If she does not comply with the order, she might be facing some jail this time.
To make the situation worse, Azealia Banks proved that she does need the anger management course by insulting the journalists and photographers waiting for her on the street.
When she left the courthouse, it was reported that she yelled, "Shut the f--k up!" and "Must suck to have a job where no one wants to talk to you…Move, lady. Move!" Page Six reports that Azealia also said, “You guys are like roaches’ and ‘Shut your a** up, and 'You should condition your hair.'"
According to the NY Daily News, Banks's lawyer Jess Berkowitz said he believed she was in compliance.
