We think everyone knows Samuel L. Jackson is not one to hold his tongue in regards to his past, the entertainment industry, and especially social issues. On February 14th, a national tragedy occurred in the form of a mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida. And when such catastrophic and horrendous events like this take place, it's the government's job to step in and find solutions in order to protect its citizens from such atrocities.

As a solution to mass shootings and gun violence in areas where men, women, and children should be able to maneuver freely without fear of danger, the Trump administration proposed that we arm at least 20% of the teaching staff in educational institutions.

This is where Samuel L. Jackson stepped in and took to his Twitter account to announce his opposition of this bizarre proposal stating the following, “Can someone that’s been in a Gunfight tell that Muthaf*kka that’s Never been in a Gunfight, the flaws of his Arm The Teachers plan??!!”

The President of the National Education Association, Lily Eskelsen García, recently spoke with Education Week in search of solutions to "keep guns out of the hands of those who want to use them to massacre innocent children and educators... Arming teachers does nothing to prevent that."

Personally, we thought this would be common sense, especially coming from communities where gun violence is prevalent and a common occurrence. Arming teachers and expecting them to embody Liam Neeson in a Taken film just isn't practical or realistic and the possibilities of a rise in gun violence in educational settings are highly probable if teachers are required to carry firearms at their respective institutions.

We can see Sam Jack right now, in his Pulp Fiction Jheri curl wig giving Donald Trump the business via Twitter and watching his Tweet go viral as he stares intensely. This isn't the movies and no one in their right mind should believe that arming middle-aged educators with firearms in chaotic settings such as school shootings would prove to have a positive outcome.
