The public is vying for Oprah Winfrey to run for the United States presidency in 2020. Winfrey has denied considering to run on many occasions following speculations after her impactful Golden Globes speech last month.

On Sunday, Oprah appeared on 60 Minutes where she led a discussion with a small group of people from Grand Rapids, Michigan. The group was split fifty-fifty amongst Trump voters and others who did support him. Oprah introduced the topic saying, "One year into Donald Trump's presidency, Americans remain divided, often unwilling to listen to what the other side has to say."

After watching the programming on Sunday (February 18), Donald Trump went on Twitter to condemn a "very insecure" Oprah, writing that he hopes to see her run for the presidency so that "she can be exposed and defeated."

"Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes," Trump wrote. "The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!"

Just last month, Trump declared how much she liked Oprah and said beating her would be very fun. Oprah herself has told CBS that God has not yet told her to run for the presidency.
