According to reports, former drug kingpin now turned motivational speaker Freeway Rick Ross will soon be getting a TV series based on his autobiography Freeway Rick Ross: The Untold Autobiography. The show will be executive produced by Randall Emmett who produces Power for Starz as well as Lone Survivor producer George Furla. The series will be centered on Ross's exploits as a drug trafficker in South Central Los Angeles where he was making an insane million dollars a day.
Ross became California's number one drug supplier and would land on the state's most wanted list. He almost found himself, unbeknownst to him, as a key player in the Iran-Contra scandal that brought the U.S. government's complicity in the crack epidemic that hit the nation at the time.
