Redman was the latest rapper to appear on BET's "Rate the Bars," a segment where rappers sit down and blindly critique bars from a variety of rappers new and old. It's about time Red sat in the seat to give his take on lyrics and bars, especially since he's an underrated lyricist himself, though Eminem (the "Rap God") has vouched for him calling him one of his favorite rappers of all time.

At the start of the clip, Red hilariously gives his own verse a 5 out of 5 bar rating, no biased you know. He goes on to question the scattered rhymes of Yo Gotti, tells Royce Da 5'9" to dumb down his lyrics for his audience, refuses to rate 2 Chainz after he says "f**k Heather B," and salutes newcomer Torae for his intricate vocabulary. Not surprising when it came time to blindly critique JAY-Z's third verse on 2009's "Death of Autotune," he gave the Brooklyn rapper a 5 out of 5. He particularly liked the "I might send this to the mixtape Weezy" line.

Watch as Redman gives out some 2's and 0's while he blindly rates the bars of some of hip-hop's current rappers. Do you agree with some of his ratings? Let us know in the comments below.
