On Monday, Mike Pence addressed the allegations that Donald Trump had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, calling the rumors "baseless."

"[I'm] not going to comment on the latest baseless allegations against the president," said the vice president Monday while speaking with the Associated Press during a visit to Jerusalem.

Pence is currently in Israel as part of a three-country tour of the Middle East.

Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, first alleged in a 2011 interview with In Touch Weekly that she had sexual relations with Trump not too long after he had wed Melania. Five years later, Daniels was allegedly paid $130,000 by Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, to keep quiet about the alleged affair.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Cohen set up a shell company to arrange the payment for Daniels, which Cohen denied.

“This is now the second time that you are raising outlandish allegations against my client,” Cohen said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal. “You have attempted to perpetuate this false narrative for over a year; a narrative that has been consistently denied by all parties since at least 2011.”

Also in the interview, Daniels revealed that she and Trump had unprotected sex the first time and that the quality was "textbook generic."
