Recently, Tekashi 6ix9ine and DJ Akademiks connected on Twitch and had a conversation. During that time, the two touched on many subjects, and found Akademiks asking the rapper what he means when he says he runs New York.
Tekashi responded by saying “When I say I run New York, I mean I’m in f**king charge right now.” He went on to say “Whatever I say goes. If I don’t want an artist in here in New York, I can shut that sh*t down.”
The rapper went on to clarify that he doesn’t go and look for instances to shut down other rappers from coming to New York, as he thinks that is some “h*e a** sh*t.”
