Jay Z is definitely a businessman! Reportedly, the hip hop mogul filed paperwork to trademark "Jaybo", the animated character in the Story of O.J.

According to TMZ, S. Carter Enterprises plans to use the image for merchandise such as T-shirts, sweaters, hats, and blankets. Jaybo could also appear on dinnerware, mugs, cocktail shakers and thermal containers. There was an additional trademark request that would give Jay Z the exclusive rights to use Jaybo in films and television series.

The character Jaybo stems from "Sambo", the main character in an 1899 children's book titled Little Black Sambo. The book is deemed racist for its use of derogatory imagery.
