Flo Rida still believes in LiAngelo Ball.

The Ball family has been the topic of discussion in the basketball world for quite some time. Led by their outspoken and passionate father, the Ball brothers seemed destined to all play for UCLA and make an NBA roster. Many of LaVar’s predictions came true; Lonzo did end up being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers but only time will tell if he will amount to what his father predicts. Despite criticism, LaVar was also able to successfully launch a sports apparel company, Big Baller Brand, and create signature shoes for his sons.

Everything seemed to be going according to plan until LiAngelo was caught shoplifting from a Louis Vuitton store in China during an exhibition trip with UCLA. After being released by the Chinese government, Gelo Ball was suspended indefinitely from UCLA basketball, leading him to eventually withdraw from the school. LaVar believes that he can and will prepare LiAngelo Ball for the NBA better than UCLA ever could, but many experts believe this lack of playing experience will significantly hurt his chances. Flo Rida is not one of those people. During a recent interview, Flo Rida was asked about Gelo’s chances at making an NBA roster, check out the video above for his response.
