Lil Yachty has been steadily hitting back at claims that his debut album, Teenage Emotions, was a flop because it only sold 46,000 units in the first week. In an Instagram post from Sunday, the 19-year-old rapper chalked it up to a lot of hip-hop fans not understanding his music, and since then he's been hopping on social media to show off the trappings of a "flopper."
On Thursday Lil Boat shared a post where he flaunted several high-end pieces of bling while sarcastically lamenting, "You flopped Yachty, yeah you're a flop." And on Friday the Atlanta rhymer hopped on the 'Gram once again to give folks a peek at what he had labeled his "flop mobile."
"Out here floppin', you hear me? Out here floppin'," Yachty can be heard saying as he climbs into the front seat of a Mercedes-Maybach.
