DNA sat down with battle journalist Michael Hughes recently to discuss the groundbreaking level of achievement that battle rap gained in 2012, and how 2013 will have to follow in its footsteps in order to keep the movement going strong.
DNA named KOTD and Smack/URL as the two top forces in battle rap, although with his recent battles on the Don't Flop stage he might add that league to the list as well.
He also feels as though NOME 3 will be able to bring back the energy that came with Summer Maddness 2.
