Roger Brown, of Brazil, Indiana woke up Wednesday morning to find his puppy licking his feet - this after chewing off two of his toes.
WISH TV reports that the 6-month old pit bull puppy, named Bo, completely ate Brown's big and small toe on his left foot before the man awoke around 4:30 a.m.
Brown is diabetic and was suffering from a foot infection, which is likely why he didn't feel any pain.
The man told WTHITV that he blames himself for not properly wrapping up the blistering infection on his foot. According to the New York Daily News, doctors believe that the dog may have been trying to help his owner.
