Tyler, the Creator may now have fans worldwide, but the Odd Future rapper certainly has enemies as well. He's scheduled to perform at Sydney's Enmore Theatre Thursday night, but Australian women's rights groups are trying to stop it from happening. But that isn't all. Not only is the group trying to stop the show, they're also trying to kick Tyler out of the country altogether.
The female rights group "Collective Shout" created a petition online, attempting to revoke Tyler's visa and send him home. They cited his "graphic descriptions of rape and violence against women" as the reason for their actions.
Tyler tweeted about the unfortunate events, apologizing for missing an appearance that the cops shut down and venting his frustrations about being petitioned against. To his delight, however, the Sydney show went down and wound up being a success. And to top it all off for the unsuccessful women's rights group, Tyler seems to love Australia.
