Hip hop fans were excited to hear about a Big Tymers reunion from Lil Wayne, but were equally confused when Birdman said that Mannie Fresh wouldn't be involved in the project. Now, Mannie Fresh has spoken exclusively to MTV about the deal, and how he feels about Lil Wayne and Drake stepping into the group.

Mannie got candid about Drake and Wayne, "Honestly I think Drake is a great artist, I think Wayne is a great artist, but they not the Big Tymers. It's kinda like doing a Jackson 5 album with Boyz II Men. Two different eras, great artists, but Boyz II Men is not the Jackson 5."

The famed producer also spoke about where he stood with Cash Money, saying "I'm too old to be making diss songs. I'm too wise to be taking shots at anybody. I'm just striving on just getting what I deserve."
