Krissy Yamagucci and Tori Doe came into our VladTV offices to chop it up with battle rap journalist Michael Hughes, about their upcoming battle on the May 18th, "Hell Up in Harlem" battle card.

The battle will be hosted by Star, from VH1's "The Gossip Game," and it will take place at Black Star Video located at 325 Lenox Ave, NYC.  Tickets for the event will be $20 at the door, and it will start at 6pm.

Given that Tori and Krissy are both talented emcees from Harlem, this battle has some major build-up behind it, as the winner will be viewed as the battle rap queen representing Harlem when it's all said and done.

While Krissy was very confident and oozing with swag during the face-off, she remained respectful and disagreed when asked if she thought this was a "step down" for her career.  Instead she views this battle as a simple step forward toward solidifying her status among her female battle rap peers.  Tori Doe on the other hand does in fact feel as though this match-up is a step down from her last opponent, 40 Barrs.

We'll have to wait and see on May 18th who will be the reigning Queen of Harlem once the battle is over.

Who do you think will be left wearing the crown? Krissy Yamagucci...or Tori Doe?
