TMZ caught up with Dennis Rodman in L.A. yesterday, May 9th, and spoke to him about his upcoming return trip to North Korea on August 1st. TMZ asked him if he would try to convince Kim Jong-un to release the American Kenneth Bae, who was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in North Korea for allegedly crafting plans to overthrow the government, and Rodman assured them he would try he hardest to set him free.
"I'm gonna try and get the guy out. It's gonna be difficult."
While being questioned about his return trip to North Korea, Rodman threw some shots at President Barack Obama for not being able to remedy the issues between the U.S. and North Korea.
"We got a black president [who] can't even go talk to [Jong-un] ... Obama can't do s**t, I don't know why he won't go talk to him."
We'll have to wait and see if Dennis Rodman will have any success getting through to Kim Jong-un when he returns to North Korea in August.
