Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson missed the premiere of his new film "Pain & Gain," as he underwent emergency hernia surgery to repair torn abdomen and abductor muscles. The professional wrestler and actor sustained the injuries while defending his WWE Champion title during a match on April 7th.
After his successful surgery Dwayne updated fans with a picture from his hospital bed, where he was appropriately wearing a Superman t-shirt.
"Surgery a success! Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend.. #WeFallWeRise"
