You would expect an artist of Akon's magnitude to fly nothing but first class, but due to a mistake, Akon almost had to fly coach during a recent flight.
TMZ caught up with Akon after his recent flight, and asked him why he had to sit coach. Akon explained that he arrived late for the flight, but was actually able to retain his first class seat. Delta gave Akon's first class spot away to his security, so the switcheroo was an easy one.
Despite getting his spot back, Akon said he was fully prepared to fly coach, as it would remind him why he needs to keep working.
