NBA star Metta World Peace's Los Angeles home was the site of some serious drama early this morning after four men were allegedly spotted lurking outside the home with guns.
According to TMZ, the LAPD got a call around midnight about four guys stalking around the luxury apartment complex. Three of the men where reportedly carrying handguns while the fourth was sporting a shotgun.
After officers showed up and announced their presence over a loudspeaker, Metta's brother and cousin came out to talk to the police. Only problem is they didn't have any ID on them, so the two men were handcuffed until Metta could be roused to come vouch for them, at which point they were released.
Eventually the "armed suspects" emerged from a different part of the complex and proved they were residents. They say they were returning from a video shoot with several BB guns.
According to TMZ, the four men got off with a warning.
