Young Money rapper Drake made headlines when he announced that he and close producer Noah "40" Shebib were executive producing a posthumous Aaliyah album. So far there's only been on track, titled "Enough Said", to surface from that project. But despite the slow progress, Young Money front man Lil Wayne is feeling the collaborative music and has nothing but good things to say about it.

"Everybody knows what Aaliyah did and done for music and culture," said Wayne. "It's always good to do that not only for people like that, but for her fans. Drake's a very thoughtful person, everyone knows that. It's an awesome collaboration."

Weezy also commented on the late Aaliyah's prior music, acknowledging its impact and saying it's even better than present music.

"Her music is still awesome. It's still better than a lot of music out right now," he said.
