Young Jeezy's business partner Demetrius Ellerbee has filed a lawsuit against the Atlanta rap star and Def Jam Recordings. Ellerbee claims that Jeezy and the well known record label have withheld millions of dollars in profits from music he helped to create. The lawsuit was filed recently in Fulton County Superior Court.

The suit states that Ellerbee and Jeezy started Corporate Thugz Entertainment together in 2001 as equal partners. They later signed to Def Jam Records to begin distributing Jeezy's music. But according to Ellerbee's attorney, Mario Breedlove, his client hasn't received the full amount of advances and royalties which have been paid to the record company. Breedlove says his client is owed up to $5 million and states that Young Jeezy "misappropriated" money and transferred it into his personal accounts.

"They were partners," Breedlove told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday. "They started the company together. They grew the company together. And he's entitled to one-half. Essentially, Young Jeezy just kind of took over the company, and elected to take all the funds."
