In recent months, some of hip hop's hottest and most popular tracks have received instrumentals from producer Mike Will. Some of those songs include Meek Mill's "Tupac Back," Gucci Mane's "Plain Jane," B.o.B's "Just a Sign" and the 2 Chainz banger "No Lie", which features Drake.
Now Mike is taking his talents to DTP head man Ludacris and the two are working on tracks for the upcoming Ludaversal album. The young producer recently spoke in terms of working on this album in particular.
"Ludacris is dope as well. I let him hear all kinds of beats, bro. He picked 20 beats from our first session. I literally did think that, 'Luda can't rap on this, he can't rap on that.' He could rap on anything! He just destroys anything! Then, we had another session and he picked 10 more beats."
He says that there is one track that especially caught his attention, one that might potentially be called "Hands in the Air".
"We're trying to finish it up now. It's stadium music. It's a big anthem, yeah. His album is sounding like, the joints he got already...that sh*t is all over the place with all kinds of dope a** records. Solid records. Crazy crossover records, the music that sells. Everything."
Ludacris' album is scheduled to drop on September 11th, Luda's birthday.
