Mac Miller's dream came true when his debut album Blue Side Park landed at the number 1 spot upon its release.

Now the young emcee has taken his recent fortunes and made someone else's dream come true when he linked with another Pittsburgh native by the name of Bobby Stewart, an 18-year-old cancer patient who unfortunately has T-cell lymphoma.

The two hometown hip hop fans got together in ID Labs where Miller does much of his recordings and they got to work, laying down some bars for Stewart.

Mac says this moment in his life and career really moved him.

"Feeling like your music really does something for the world makes it all worth it, no matter what. From now on, no matter what happens for the rest of my life, no one can take that away from me."

Stewart, who is a big Mac Miller fan, says the experience was a dream come true, mixing his favorite rapper and his favorite genre of music all at once.

"To be with Mac is a blessing. His lyrics are amazing. Hip hop is my passion. To be able to be with Mac Miller. He is a Pittsburgh legend. He has something real to say. And it's important, and it's different, and it's cool."

A great gesture on the part of Mac Miller.
