Ray Allen was an intrical part of the Boston Celtics 2008 championship run, and even made history while a member of the team by breaking Reggie Miller's 3-point record and becoming the NBA's all time leader in 3-pointers made.

He's proven that he can still be effective in the NBA, even at 36 years of age but it doesn't seem like the rest of his career will be played with his current team. The Celtics came close to trading him before the NBA trade deadline and since then, he's pretty much been a role player since returning from an injury.

His contract will be up at the end of this season and Allen will become a free agent. Who knows what team, if any, he'll be playing for after the 2011-2012 season.
