A Swedish Man is being treated for exposure after being dug out from his snow-buried car, remaining in the frozen prison without food for two months.
The 45-year-old man was found emaciated, sick and too weak to talk according to police reports, which also noted the temperature in the area was a frigid -22F.
He was found close to the city of Umea by curious snowmobilers who thought they came upon a car wreck, until they saw movement inside the car.
He is doing well in the hospital considering the entire ordeal. One doctor commented during the recovery on his survival and how it was possible, "A bit like a bear that hibernates. Humans can do that," he said. "He probably had a body temperature of around 31 degrees (Celsius) which the body adjusted to. Due to the low temperature, not much energy was used up."
Cool story indeed.
