it was reported earlier this week that MC Hammer had failed to pay $779,585 in back taxes, which dated back to 1996-97.
After hearing the news Hammer took to his Twitter to clear up the news, telling fans "700k ... Don't get too excited .. I paid them already and kept my receipt. Stamped by a US Federal Judge."
