Since taking over Epic Records L.A. Reid is making his first big change by adding Ciara and Outkast to his roster. Both acts have long ties with Reid, as they signed their first contracts with him while he was over LaFace Records.
Ciara is sure to be relieved over the news, considering she was begging Jive to release her earlier in the year.
"A release would allow me to go be creative with people who care and understand me as a artist. In a short time, I will be able to bring to you a new music energy and a visual excitement!"
No official announcement has been made by Epic Records, but sources concur that the deal is in its final stages.
