Job Description:
VladTV is seeking a Writer/Copy Editor with a strong knowledge and interest in Hip Hop. This is a full-time position. Candidate should be someone with experience working for websites, blogs, or publications. Candidates for this position must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail is a must.
Requirements
- Must have a strong interest and knowledge in Hip Hop
- Familiarity with VladTV – the content, post style, and demographic
- Experience in writing and copy editing for blogs, websites, or publications
- Well developed writing/journalism skills
- Ability to work independently, but also within the structure of a team
- Basic content management system knowledge is a plus but not required
- Must live in the NYC metro area
Education
- Degree in English, Journalism, or equivalent work experience
