Actor and comedian Russell brand recently opened up about his struggles with drug addiction in a discussion he had with before a parliamentary committee in which they reviewed the the drug policy in the U.K.
He gave his viewpoints on a number of topics, including criminal activity stemming from drug use, the compassion which he feels is needed for addicts, and that drug addiction needs to be looked upon as a health issue instead of a crime issue.
