I agree...i would love to support them. They WERE good in the 90's but there has not been any progression, any growth in variety. To be quite frank I'm tired of the same'ol same movies. Don't blame Tyler, Snipes or anyone. Big ups to the black actors making movies but they have not raised the bar lately. I'm tired of us being portraid in a comedic light, crazy relationships, and the whole nine BS...it's redundant, there is so many types of movies as black folks we could put out thats not being touched. I'm tired of the whole greek mythology mess....

Id love 2 support black movies but they just dont make any good 1s any more. Think its been a while since a classic like friday, the wood, best man, n shit like dat have dropped. Its kind of like hiphop.... The best was in the 90s n early 2000s. Now all we get is these tyler perry flicks wich i personally haven't liked not 1. So start makin better movies n support will come automatic.

Thanx 4 saying what I had in mind. They make this cliched, stupid, chick flick, tired-formulaic movies and they force pity on us to go and pay 2 see this shitty movies... Support Spike Lee and not these baaaadddd movies.

Not sure what the fuck they talking about...make good movies and people will support it. If Hunger Games had a Black cast...it probably would not have done as well at the box office...and vice versa...Menace 2 Society & Boyz n da Hood would not be hood classics if they starred Nicholas Cage. Fuck it...its 2012...lets start a new campaign...instead of Stop Snitchin'...lets Stop Bitchin'.
