When it comes to OG Maco, it's all about pushing boundaries. Originally from a hardcore band, the "F***EMx3" rapper wishes more Black people in particular would learn to blend genres instead of focusing on being the "realest n****" in hip-hop. "Black people live in some of the most uncomfortable environments and make that comfortable, but won't listen to some uncomfortable music and make it comfortable -- and that's our downfall," Maco claims.

When it comes to other rappers who have raised the bar, OG Maco would put Jay Z and Eminem on that list, but not necessarily in the top spots. "I don't even think either one of them [is] the King of Hip-Hop, to be honest," he calmly states. "I just feel like there are other rappers who people enjoy more." OG Maco feels that while Eminem is the "original anarchist rapper," Jay can be labeled as the original flexer. "Jay Z is the biggest flexer of all time," says Maco. "Almost every Jay Z song has to do with him stunting on you."
