Five years ago, Antoine Dodson earned both respect and Internet fame for his heroic actions which prevented his sister from being raped by a home intruder and the legendary news interview that followed, and recently he spoke with VladTV about a myriad of topics which ranged from boxing to his sexuality leading to hundreds of fights growing up.
Dodson, who successfully parlayed a quick local interview into sustained national fame, has become an accomplished singer and thespian, and now he's challenging himself in the world of boxing. So far, he's won a long-awaited bout against the confirmed "Bed Intruder" who assaulted his sister, and soon he'll be facing off against actor Joe Rubbo.
Mr. "Hide Ya Kids" spoke candidly on how growing up as a gay man on Chicago's Southside forced him into many scuffles with his peers, making him well prepared for his bout against Rubbo.
