Outspoken singing/producing virtuoso Kevin McCall recently granted VladTV an exclusive interview, and this snippet sheds light on his thoughts on Justin Bieber emulating Chris Brown, working with Bieber and Chris Brown, and Bieber using the N-word.

As the discussion commences with Kevin's humorous take on Justin Bieber trying to emulate the behavior of Chris Brown, the topics soon get more serious as the dialogue segues from what it was like first meeting a maturing Justin who repeatedly did the same "magic trick" with a lighter, to Justin being highly criticized when tapes of him surfaced using the disparaging N-word.

When questioned about the criticism Justin received about using the highly inflammatory word, Kevin jokes, "Justin's my n****, you know." Kevin follows that with the more serious statement, "The N-word is one of those words that we have to stop giving power to," adding, "I think it should be eradicated totally, just because it has negative connotations from history."

He then appeals to Black people to stop giving that hate-laced word so much power. Kevin claims, "At the same time, Black people, if you want to kill somebody because they said the word n***er then you're just perpetuating hate yourself."
