DJ Paul's legendary status has been solidified with the lyricism he has shown as a member of Three 6 Mafia, and recently the veteran rapper sat down with VladTV for an exclusive interview; in this portion he discusses getting his face tattoos, his opinion on the ink seen on other artists, and his thoughts on how America's tattoo culture has evolved throughout the last twenty years.

The Memphis MC reveals that his face tatts are of a music note and a cross, and that they were both etched into his flesh back in the early 2000s, with DJ Paul crediting the streets for motivating him to get ink on his face. Although he was one of the first in Hip-Hop to get his face tatted, many of his close friends and family weren't surprised. The "Stay Fly" MC adds, "Wasn't nobody really surprised at it, you know -- it's like they really didn't notice that it was new."

As the convo turns to other artists, Gucci Mane's infamous ice cream cone face tat comes up, and DJ Paul quips, "He went to another level with it with that." He then affirms that he's personally done with getting face tattoos, and that too many make one resemble a "killer."
