You can never assume an athlete is your best friend, let alone a boxer for that matter, especially when it comes to the legendary Mike Tyson. The former heavyweight champion was one of the throngs of celebrities taking in all of the Mayweather and Pacquiao hoopla during their historic weigh-in at the MGM Grand, when an overzealous fan decided to drape his arm over Iron Mike for a cellphone selfie.

It appeared the fan didn't ask Tyson for permission before snapping the photo, and that clearly set the former champ off, as he gave the obsessive fan an elbow to the chest, nudging him away and nearly missing his face.

Yes, fans that want a snap with their favorite star will always bombard celebrities. It's quite the inevitable in society today, but it's how the stars handle the situation, which make them seem much more adored by many. Tyson, however, was a split second from returning to his old days.

A few days ago, Mike made the headlines when he was asked about his take on the upcoming fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather, but things took a turn for the worse when Mike sounded off about whether or not Money May was better than Muhammad Ali.

"He's very delusional," Tyson said. "He can't take his kid to school by himself and he's talking about he's great? Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people, greatness is being accepted by the people."

It is believed that the beef between the boxers stem from Mayweather supposedly being connected to a police raid that occurred at Tyson's home back in 2001, in which according to the reports, involved a woman falsely accusing Iron Mike of sexually assaulting and kidnapping her. It is rumored that both men were dealing with the same woman, and Mayweather was behind the accusations, forcing the woman to make these claims against Tyson.
