Lean has been popularized in the Hip-Hop world over the years, but Daniel "Boobie" Gibson told VladTV that the purple drink is more popular in Houston than anything else, including weed. The famed athlete even admitted to losing a couple of friends to the drug, which he said causes health problems like seizures.
Speaking more on the Hip-Hop culture in Houston, Boobie shared his thoughts on the "Chopped & Screwed" style of music that was invented by the late DJ Screw. The former Cavaliers baller said that while he enjoys listening to the slowed down beats, which resonates with his southern roots, Gibson said he understands that the style isn't for everyone.
